In other news, the snowfall of the century (or something like that) is set to fall on the night that I absolutely have to drive up to Chicago. Swell. Weather, I hate you. So much. I really, really want to go outside to take pictures, but it's really cold and I still don't have the right gloves.

I am slowly working on my screenplay and when I say slowly, I mean that the muse has run off to Hawaii and by screenplay I mean that I'm brainstorming in novel draft format, because it makes my life easier. Plus I'm finally catching up with more Mexican history, since the screenplay is set in Mexico during the 1890s and it was a nice excuse.

I watched The United States of Tara. Awesome. And it's so refreshing to see a show geared around a female character. There aren't a lot of those. It's well written, the characters are interesting, the gay character isn't struggling with his identity or his family, and the alters are completely kooky.

Oh, and I found a doll's head in a drawer. I do not know.

This is at the lighthouse in Mayagüez back at PR. Apparently, one of the top ten beaches of one of the guys from the Travel Channel is right behind me. It's a gorgeous place with a really sheer cliff that we kept being really careful not to fall off of. It was quite tricky with all the jagged edges.

Conan O'Brien was in my dream last night. He moved next door to me and we began neighborly visits and there was something about a DVD he wanted to give to me, but then the dream shifted into this exhausting chase scene with this bizarre man with freaky eyes. And that's when I decided, "The hell with this, I'm waking up."

I broke one of my middle finger nails and now typing feels weird. People always ask me how I can type with such long nails and I go right back at them and ask how they can type without them. I use my nails to type more than the flesh of my fingers.

I've been gone for a while , haven't I? Stuff has happened. Mostly fun stuff. Because I have no favorite song. I don't. It just hasn't happened. There's a lot of songs I really like, of course, but they mostly tend to be in Spanish for some reason. I've always been drawn to songs with this theme since I was little and not even old enough to know what that sex thing was. I do not know.
