I have the massive urge to write my own queer adaptation of ACD and film it. Everyone else is doing their own adaptations, so why not? And I've been searching for an idea for a film project forever. Why not this?
Definitely! My Sherlock would be ace, so not what everybody'd looking for, but the ace community jumps on anything that has an ace character in it. I've wanted to do some sort of project with an ace lead for a long time.
Did you get to see the "furtive festivity" fan made film short? I think it is making the rounds of various film festivals and competitions still, but they let their donors have a sneak peek. I'm trying to think of their tumblr handle. AH, "sherlock ppu", also on facebook and twitter, and "sherlock holmes and the adventure of the furtive festivity" on imdb. It's only a short, i wish there was a full length feature with them!
I haven't! I'll check it out. I'm so green. I'm not familiar with anything beyond Sherlock and the first three ACD books yet.
